On June 15th, the Warrenton Ruritan Club hosted its annual Scholarship Banquet, After the Dinner, 7 scholarship recipients from Fauquier High School and one Legacy Scholarship recipient were each awarded checks for $1,000.00 to aid them in their individual endeavors into higher education whether that is a traditional college or a vocational college/trade school. These recipients were selected in conjunction with the Fauquier's High Schools staff and guidance dept, seen below is a photo of each recipient receiving their check, presenting the checks on behalf of the club is Ruritan member Roger Sites (former Fauquier High School Principal) and head of the scholarship awards committee, The Warrenton Ruritan club wishes these scholarship winners the very best in their future endeavors and hopefully return one day as a Ruritan club member.
